Marion turned one

Marion turned one last October 28. Her first trip around the sun and a year filled with so many firsts-- for her, for me and for Rocky. What an amazing year we had! :-)

We decided on a halloween/autumn harvest theme for her party.

Games:
Hoop the pumpkin
Basketball
Bean bag toss
Guess how many jelly beans are in the pumpkin

Crafts:
Coloring pages
Magic Color Scratch leaves and apples
Pumpkin face stickers

Activities & Other Entertainment:
Face painting
Photobooth
Charlie Brown Cartoons- It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Prizes:
Bubbles
Candies
Pencils
Stickers
Notepads
Rubber ducks (Halloween, Thanksgiving themed)
Other small toys

Giveaways:
Apples

I'd wanted to bake Marion's birthday cake myself, but I never learned how to bake/decorate one so I had to order one for her. :-) But Rocky and I worked on the centerpieces ourselves. :-) Most of the stuff for her party were bought from Divisoria, the rest from Oriental Trading.

My favorite part of the party was watching the kids playing on the stage, dancing, taking turns with the microphone and just having fun. :-)

And Marion, who was in a spider/witch costume, seemed to know the party was all for her and was happy and all excited that afternoon.
